Your Presenters

Anita       (she/her)

Anita Brown-Major (she/her) is an occupational therapist who works with individuals to address their sexual health needs. Anita has completed extensive research in the field of disability and sexuality throughout her 25-year career.

Sarah      (they/she)

Sarah  (they/she) leads our clinical team at Thrive Rehab, an LGBTQIA+ and neuro-divergent affirming, sex positive practice.

Sarah holds strong core values of being client-centered, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and co-creating safe therapeutic relationships. Sarah is passionate about advocacy that centers the client's own voice, needs and priorities.

Sarah takes the responsibility seriously to be responsive to and respectful of every individual, and their unique health and life journey.

 Kate      (she/her)

Kate (she/her) is an Occupational Therapist who started her professional career in East Gippsland working with rural communities and individuals to access safe and accessible allied health services. Kate’s current work is centred on sexuality and intimacy and supporting people with disabilities to gain equal access to safe, meaningful engagement and expression of sexuality.

Sam (they/them)

Sam (they/them) is an Occupational Therapist at Thrive Rehab and author of The Awesome Autistic Guide for Trans Teens. A former Network Leader with I CAN Network, Sam brings a strong focus on neuro-affirming practice and respectful approaches to sexuality and intimacy.
